My Story/Beginning Weight



Well, I have been struggling with my weight since I was about 10 years old. I was always the chubby and fat girl. I continued to struggle with my weight through my teens and early 20s. When I was about 22-23 years old, I decided, with some of my coworkers, that we all needed to lose weight. I began going to the gym with some coworkers, and throughout time, I was the only person left going to the gym. With my determination and consistency, I went from 226lbs, to about 172lbs. I maintained my weight for about 2 yrs. In 2007, I became pregnant with my child. During my pregnancy, healthy eating went out the window. I ate whatever I wanted, however I wanted, and anytime I wanted.

Because of my poor choices during my pregnancy, I weighed 275lbs at the end of my pregnancy. After I had my daughter in 2008, I began to lose some pregnancy weight without exercise. I just lost 35lbs (240lbs) since August 2008. It is now 2010, and I have gotten no where with weight loss...I have not exercised on a regular basis since 2007. I am officially beginning the journey today, and there is no turning back.

I went on the scale today, for my first documented weigh in, and today, I weigh 237.0 . My goal weight is 150-160lbs. So I know I have a long way to go. I plan to lose at least 77lbs. My plan is to basically cut down on the junk, eat more healthy foods, and exercise. I don't have a set plan yet, but when I get the ball rolling, I will definitely share what I am doing. I will definitely post on my blog once weekly, but I will try to post about 2, maybe 3 times a week to let you know how I am doing. So, I guess that is it for now....Happy Weight Loss!!!

Weight Loss Intro

Well, after having this blog for about 4 months and doing nothing with it, I finally decided to make this a weight loss blog. My goal for 2010 is to get back down to a healthy weight. This will be a very difficult journey, but I am definitely ready for the challenge. I think blogging about this will give me accountability for my weight loss. Stay tuned to my blog to see how I do on my diet (NO!!! Lifestyle change!!)
